ISMPP Committees and Task Forces

Thank you to all of our volunteers who contributed during the 2025–2026 committee year. We look forward to welcoming our returning and new volunteers for the 2027 committee year and to another engaging and productive year ahead.

ISMPP’s Committees and Task Forces play a vital role in advancing medical publication and communication practices worldwide. These volunteer-led groups address evolving trends, challenges, and needs across the profession, developing resources, insights, and initiatives that support ISMPP members and the broader community. By participating, volunteers have opportunities to collaborate with peers, exchange knowledge and perspectives, and contribute their expertise to work that advances the field.

 ISMPP Committee volunteer opportunities are offered at different times during the year, depending on the committee and its annual work cycle. Members are encouraged to review individual volunteer opportunities for information about committee objectives, qualifications, expectations, and timing. Committee qualifications vary, and volunteers must meet at least one listed requirement to be eligible for participation. Volunteer opportunities under ISMPP's CMPP™ Program are only open to those with the ISMPP CMPP™ credential, and the ISMPP CMPP™ Certification Board has a separate nomination and election process. 

ISMPP's Task Forces are convened to address focused areas of need, emerging issues, or priorities in the profession or practice. Task Force membership may be solicited through a Volunteer Drive or may include individuals selected for their relevant knowledge and expertise. Current Task Forces are not participating in the 2027 Committee Volunteer Drive; membership may be considered separately based on the focus and needs of each Task Force.
