David McCandless Author, Data-journalist, and Information Designer More details on his session David is a globally renowned author, data-journalist, and information designer, working across print, advertising, TV, and web. David's books – Knowledge is Beautiful and Information Is Beautiful – are dedicated to visualising ideas, issues, knowledge, and data, and are inspired by his passion for discovering new patterns and stories in the vast amount of data now swamping us.

Amelia Kallman Futurist, Speaker, Author More details on her session Amelia Kallman is a leading London futurist, speaker and author. As an innovation and technology communicator, Amelia regularly consults brands, agencies, and governments on the impact of new technologies on the future of business and our lives. She helps clients navigate innovation, building strategies and advising on delivery. She is an expert on the emerging opportunities - as well as the risks - of The New Realities (VR-AR-MR) having recently authored a cutting-edge, industry-leading report for Lloyd’s of London. She also specialises in the future of retail, AI and IoT.

The meeting theme, Precision Communication: Achieving Clarity, Reach and Value, reflects ISMPP's expanded mission and vision to include all aspects of scientific communications and highlights the increasing need for personalisation of communications to ensure the needs of all stakeholders are met in a world where medicine itself is ever-individualising.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your meeting registration, please note the following:

4 or more weeks prior to event:

You will receive a full refund, minus 10% of the balance for processing fees, or you may substitute another ISMPP member to attend in your place. You may also request a voucher for the full registration fee to be used towards a future ISMPP event within the following twelve-month period.

2 to 4 weeks prior to the event:

You will receive a refund of 30% of the registration fees or you may substitute another ISMPP member to attend in your place. You may also request a voucher for the full registration fee to be used towards a future ISMPP event within the following twelve-month period.

Less than 2 weeks prior to the event:

You may substitute another ISMPP member to attend in your place by submitting written request to [email protected]. Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.

Consent Clause:

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ISMPP meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by ISMPP and other third parties, including but not limited to the venue and conference app partner(s). Your registration may include technology that monitors your activities throughout the meeting, such as session attendance and booths visited.
