Keith Evans

Bio: Keith Evans is the Director, Global Health Outcomes at inScience Communications . Keith is a graduate in Economics (BA Econ) and Health Economics (PhD) who specializes in health outcomes and evidence-based medicine projects, providing health outcomes input to inScience Communications clients. He has worked across a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas. He was previously a lecturer in economics at DeMontfort University, Leicester and as the Health Economist and Director of the Health Services Research Unit at Bangor University on a series of public health projects for the NHS as well as Health Economist for Ayrshire & Arran Health Board. He has worked in Medical Communications since 2001.

Bio: Rick Flemming is co-founder of Aspire Scientific Ltd, a medical writing agency serving the global biopharmaceutical industry. He is also co-owner of The Publication Plan Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation that provides a freely accessible, central online news resource for anyone interested in the development of medical publications. Rick has worked in the medical communications sector for the past 15 years. During this time, he has helped ensure compliant delivery of numerous publication plans and their high-quality outputs across a range of therapy areas and for a variety of target audiences. Before beginning his career in medical communications, Rick was awarded MSc and PhD degrees in physiology from King's College London and the University of Leeds, respectively.

Simon Fry

Bio: Mr. Fry has over 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical communications space with a focus on digital solutions. After joining Springer Healthcare in 2011 as Digital Business Development Director, he became Digital Product Development Director in 2015, a position he serves to date. At Springer, Mr. Fry is responsible for monitoring and evaluating technological advances in STM publishing in order to identify opportunities to enhance Springer's portfolio of digital offerings, either through enhancements to existing digital products or by creating completely new products to answer clients' needs. He also investigates digital opportunities, works with external and internal partners to evaluate opportunities, and oversees the creation of product prototypes. Prior to Springer Healthcare, he worked at WoltersKluwer Health as Software Developer/Digital Project Manager and at Adis International as Head of Software.
