ISMPP is pleased to announce the theme for the 2021 European Meeting of ISMPP, 26-27 January, in London, UK:

Collaboration, Connectivity, and Change: A Holistic View of the Scientific Communications Environment in 2021

This theme will explore our evolving role at the centre of a complex network in the new environment in which we operate, how the needs of our stakeholders have changed and the impact of COVID-19 as an accelerator of innovation and a catalyst for positive change in the industry.

The 2021 European Meeting of ISMPP offers a great opportunity to publish your research and build on the medical publications and scientific communications knowledge base.

In addition, your research could be:

  • Published in the Current Medical Research and Opinion (CMRO) supplement

  • Considered for a spot in our member research oral presentation session

  • Posters made available to view on demand throughout the event (more details to follow)

  • Eligible for one of three distinguished poster awards: "Best Original Research," "Most Reflective of Meeting Theme," and new for 2021, "Most Valuable Digital Poster Format or Enhancement"

Your structured, scientific abstract should report results of original research that expands understanding of the medical publication/scientific communication professions and should contain quantitative or qualitative data. For detailed instructions, refer to our Guidelines & FAQ.

ISMPP's Abstract Committee will review all abstracts via a blinded, peer-review process. Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on criteria that include the abstract's originality, innovation, and relevance to the field.
