Submit an Abstract

Abstract submission for the 5th Annual ISMPP meeting, April 20-22, 2009, is now open.
Submission deadline is 12:00 AM EST, December 15, 2008. This year's program theme is "Defining Professionalism in Medical Publications: Transparency, Objectivity, and Ethics," and offers numerous possibilities for topics. We encourage you to think about your successes and challenges as publication planning professionals, and consider submitting an abstract that will be of interest to your peers. Feedback from ISMPP membership indicates that case studies and research supported by surveys are of keen interest to your colleagues.

ISMPP's Abstract Review Subcommittee will review all submitted abstracts via a blinded, peer-review process. Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on the relevance to members' roles as publication professionals and/or to the theme of the 5th Annual Meeting. A limited number of abstracts judged to have particularly compelling data will be selected for oral presentations. This is a wonderful opportunity to directly engage your colleagues! Authors will be notified if their abstract has been selected for presentation (either poster or oral presentation) in January 2009. Please refer to the author guidelines for further details.
