Bio: Jackie Marchington joined Caudex in 1990 as a medical editor/writer following a period of post-doctoral research. Since then, she has developed within the company in a range of roles culminating in her current position of Director of Global Operations. During her 25+ years in healthcare communications, she has used her logical approach to problem-solving and project development to evolve the current operating, quality and ethical standards for which Caudex is known. She develops and delivers both internal and external training on all aspects of medical publications, including publication ethics, compliance and copyright, and works with all Caudex offices to ensure understanding of and adherence to quality control protocols, as well as processes that contribute to the smooth and efficient development of projects. Jackie is a CMPP, co-chair of the ISMPP Advocacy and Outreach Committee and a member of the Global Alliance of Publication Professionals (GAPP) team.

Bio: Laura is Senior Portfolio Director at ApotheCom, based in London, UK. Laura has 15 years of medical communications experience across a range of therapy areas, working in collaboration with global and regional clients, and with expertise spanning early phase, pre- and post-launch publication planning, medical education and clinical trial support, including feasibility and access to patients. Laura has been a Certified Medical Publications Professional (CMPP) and a member of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) European Meeting Program Committee member since 2010, serving as chair of the 2015 European Meeting of ISMPP and a range of other roles at, including as a presenter, moderator and abstract reviewer. Laura is also currently a member of the ISMPP Advocacy and Outreach Committee, with a particular focus on outreach within Europe. Prior to joining medical communications, Laura was a Commissioning Editor at Future Science Group, an independent medical publishing company. Laura holds a BSc in Biochemistry from University of Leeds, UK, including a 1-year research placement in genomics at AstraZeneca. She has also completed a short course in the Economic Evaluation of Medicines from University of York, UK.

Bio: Karen has been with the Sanofi Group since 2003 and was previously Senior Director/Publications Compliance Officer in the Medical Expertise and Innovation Department of Global Medical Affairs. Since 2016, her role as the Head of Publications within Data Dissemination in the Chief Medical Office is to oversee development and review of scientific and medical publications across the Global Business Units and R&D. She also works closely with Data Sharing and Trial Transparency groups within Sanofi for clinical trial data dissemination. Karen has nearly 20 years of experience in medical publication planning and development. She currently serves on the newly formed Transparency Committee of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP). Karen received a BSc from Penn State University, a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from San Diego State University, and a PhD in Environmental Physiology from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada. She was a National Research Council Resident Research Associate with the Diving Medicine Department, Naval Medical Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, and was a postdoctoral fellow in renal physiology at Rutgers University. She was an assistant professor in Exercise Science at Rutgers before moving to medical communications.

Bio: Martin Neuner-Jehle earned his Ph.D. degree from the university of Zurich (Switzerland) and started his academic career in neuroscience at the CNRS in France. Soon he moved to the healthcare industry where he spent the past 20 years working in R&D in ophthalmology at Neurotech (France) and Novartis Pharma (Switzerland).
