Call for Abstracts - NOW CLOSED
This year's program theme is ”Practical Solutions in a Complex Medical Publications World” and offers numerous possibilities for topics. However, you are not limited to this topic alone. We encourage you to think about your successes, challenges, and best practices as medical publication professionals and consider showcasing the results of your original research to your peers. The ISMPP membership would especially welcome studies that focus on process improvements and other research with direct application to day-to-day activities. Please refer to the abstract submission guidelines for details and note the submission deadline above; abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
ISMPP's Abstract Committee will review all submitted abstracts via a blinded, peer-review process. Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on submission criteria that include the abstract’s relevance to members' roles as publication professionals and/or to the theme of the 8th Annual Meeting. A limited number of abstracts judged to have the potential for improving/advancing service or practice will be selected for oral presentations, a wonderful opportunity to directly engage your colleagues! Accepted abstracts will be published in a special supplement to CMRO. Please note: Methods-only abstracts will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may not be included in the CMRO publication.
Authors will be notified if their abstract has been selected for presentation (either poster or oral presentation) in early February 2012. It is time to get started to be sure you have your results in time for your abstract submission. We look forward to your submission!
