Play an important role in the 2018 European Meeting of ISMPP by submitting your research; not only will you encourage substantive conversations with peers, you will have your research published (in an upcoming CMRO supplement) and considered for oral presentation at the meeting. Scientific abstracts should contain quantitative or qualitative data and report results of original research that contributes to members’ understanding of the medical publication profession

You may want to consider--but are not limited to--original research in the following areas:

  • New information technologies that can lower barriers for health communication

  • Best practices to optimize health decisions in different cultural contexts

  • The trend toward patient involvement in healthcare communication and its effect on publications

  • Topics with direct application to day-to-day practice

  • The growing importance of real world evidence and implications for publication policy

  • Working with authors in an environment of increasing transparency and disclosure

  • Abstracts relevant to the theme of the meeting are also encouraged.

alt

ISMPP's Abstract Committee will review all abstracts via a blinded, peer-review process. Notifications of rejection/acceptance will be sent to authors by late-October. Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on criteria that include the abstract’s originality and innovation and relevance to the field. Methods-only abstracts will not be accepted. It is time to get started to be sure you have your results in time for your abstract submission.

We look forward to your submission!
